When families join Inversant, they share with us their stories, and their goals for their children. Not surprisingly, most families share common goals and challenges in planning for their children’s future:
EDUCATION IS NON-NEGOTIABLE.
“I don’t have any goods for her to inherit from me but I know she’ll have an education that no one can take away from her.”
Our Inversant families are dedicated and committed to their children’s education because they know it is the key to their children’s future successes. Parents who did not complete a higher education degree want to ensure that their children have access to the opportunities they did not have. Even parents who have a higher education degree remember how challenging the process can be, and recognize that their children need support.
HIGHER EDUCATION IS EXPENSIVE, AND SAVING IS A CRUCIAL WAY TO AVOID/REDUCE BORROWING
“Its so hard not to take out loans because school is so expensive. That’s why I started saving early for my daughter to reduce loans.”
Rising higher education costs, combined with the student loan debt crisis, are intimidating for any family. However, Inversant families believe that even a little savings can go a long way, and that it is better to earn interest from saving than to pay interest for loans.
STUDENTS SHOULD NOT GO THROUGH THE COMPLICATED HIGHER EDUCATION PROCESS ALONE
“I’m just really happy for OUR accomplishments. I emphasize “ours” because my daughter and I both wanted this and both worked to get it. As parents we make the wings to give to our children so they can fly.”
Inversant families learn that it’s not just enough to save for higher education… that you also need to be smart about negotiating the entire process. From understanding application requirements to managing deadlines, our families learn and achieve together.
