“Inversant really brings all the information you could possibly need to one place. That has made a big difference in preparing for college … It’s been eye opening.”

2017 Chelsea 300 Breakfast

On Thursday, June 15th Inversant hosted the Chelsea 300 Club Breakfast at the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Chelsea. The Chelsea 300 Club was founded in 2010 by former City Manager, Jay Ash. It consists of local companies, community members, and student alumni who all wish to support the Inversant program within Chesea High School. The 300 Club continues to help fund the education savings accounts for numerous college-bound Chelsea students.

The morning started with a quick introduction by our founder, Bob Hildreth. His opening remarks were met with laughter, in true Bob fashion. Following him was Mary Bourque, the Superintendent of Chelsea Public Schools. She spoke highly of the changes that Inversant has made in the life of students. One such student was William Estrada, who came to the breakfast to describe how Inversant changed his life. Estrada spoke about his mother saying, “I know that the sacrifices that my mom made were to grant her children limitless opportunities and a better life and I want to thank Inversant for making her dreams come true.” He ended his speech in tears to booming applause from all in the room before retreating back to his seat beside his mother.

Also in attendance was Robert Cashman, who was named the Chelsea 300 Champion of 2017 for his commitment to the Chelsea community as well as his endless support in the college success of local students. Throughout the breakfast we also heard from Dennis Cataldo, VP of Cataldo ambulance service, and Charlie Desmond, CEO of Inversant.

Overall, the breakfast was an immensely successful event and we thank everyone who was able to attend!
